About the Journal

Athena – Health & Research Journal adopts as its mission the difusion of original and innovative research and development papers pertaining to de pedagogial and scientific development of Heath Sciences in response to human, family and communities needs. Accordingly:

• the journal publishes original research papers pertaining to all health sciences domains
• the journal adopts a full free acess policy with no costs both to the author and to the reader.

The journal adopts a double blind peer review process preserving the identity of both authors and reviewers.

The article processing workflow adopted includes nine steps: 1) code assignment; 2) Editor-chief analysis; 3) Redaction assistant analysis; 4) Peer review; 5) Supervisor review; 6)Tecnical and documentation review;  7) final review; 8) Graphical composition; 9) publication
