About the Journal

Athena – Health & Research Journal adopts as its Aim & scope difusion of original and innovative research and development papers pertaining to de pedagogial and scientific development of Heath Sciences in response to human, family and communities needs. Accordingly:

• the journal publishes original research papers pertaining to all health sciences domains
• the journal adopts a full free acess policy with no costs both to the author and to the reader.

The journal adopts a double blind peer review process preserving the identity of both authors and reviewers.

The article processing workflow adopted includes nine steps: 1) code assignment; 2) Editor-chief analysis; 3) Redaction assistant analysis; 4) Peer review; 5) Supervisor review; 6)Tecnical and documentation review;  7) final review; 8) Graphical composition; 9) publication
